From Interstate 15
Cajalco Road to Gavilan Road.
Get off at Cajalco Road, approximately three miles south of the 91 interchange, and go east. Cajalco winds up the hill for several miles. When you reach the plateau, you will come to a stop sign. Continue straight ahead. Approximately three miles later, you will come to two signals in a row. At the second one, turn right onto Gavilan Road.
Gavilan Road winds up a steep hill, levels off, and then starts to dip back down. Continue for approximately three-quarters of a mile, and you will see Ida Leona Road on the left. There is a sign for Ida Leona on the right, but the road only goes left. Follow Ida Leona for nine-tenths of a mile. Rushton is on the right. Look for the large barn with a blue roof.
From Highway 91
Van Buren Road through Mockingbird Canyon.
Get off at Van Buren Road, approximately five miles east of the 15 interchange. Get in the middle lane of the exit ramp. Turn left off the ramp onto Indiana and immediately turn right onto Van Buren. Take Van Buren for approximately three miles. As you drive through the orange groves, you will come up a small hill and then start down a hill. At the bottom is a three-way traffic light. Turn right at this light onto Mockingbird Canyon Road.
Go to the end, about two to three miles, and turn left on El Sobrante. Go to the end, about one mile, and turn left onto Cajalco. Make the first right onto Gavilan Road, almost immediately after turning onto Cajalco.

Ramona Expressway/Cajalco Road west.
Get off at the Ramona Expressway/Cajalco Road exit and go west on Cajalco for about five to six miles. Continue straight through the light at Wood Road and through the stop sign just after the firehouse at Harley John Road. At the next stop sign, turn left onto Gavilan Road.

For visitors coming from farther away, Rushton Stables is only 35 minutes from Ontario Airport. Yes, California has an Ontario, not just Canada. We are 45 minutes from Santa Ana and Orange County Airport and one hour from LAX in Los Angeles.
There is plenty to do nearby. The historic Mission Inn is only 20 minutes away in downtown Riverside, where antique shopping is always fun. Palm Springs is 45 minutes away with great shopping and stellar spas. Anaheim and Disneyland are only 45 minutes away. The San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, and SeaWorld are just over an hour away.
